The ancient walls of Castle Kalwar, with its towering mountain backdrop offers the perfect setting; the splendour of Rajputana craftsmanship is ubiquitous throughout the castle and gardens. The flamboyant interiors are graced with portraits of the owners’ ancestors, splendid in classical regalia; gilded antique furniture; intricate frescoes; and imposingly high ceilings. Tall pillars stand to attention supporting grand porticos; gateways to lush verdant lawns where guests are greeted by parrots and peacocks in their technicolour glory. This fairy-tale experience is even more magical as evening descends and the castle is lit up in an aesthetically pleasing display. 

Located on a 3-acre plot just 25km from Jaipur, this ancient castle now doubles as a heritage hotel, with a number of guest rooms, sumptuously decorated and furnished with ornate king-sized beds, a vintage writing desk, a selection of high-class amenities and splendid views over the gardens and pool. 

Whatever your requirements, this family owned establishment is the perfect, intimate venue for a wedding or vow renewal ceremony. Your arrangements can be entirely bespoke to your specific requirements; or indulge in a pre-planned 3-day wedding event which will transport you back to the time of the Maharajas!

Additional Information

• This is a 3-day wedding event and can be tailored to your specific requirements. 
• Traditionally, the entire Castle will be booked for you and all ceremonies held according to Hindu traditions. 
• To create an authentic and vibrant experience, the cost includes 25 local dignitaries and family members in traditional dress who will join in with the dinners and ceremonies.
• Please request additional rooms for guests (at an additional cost). Depending on the package booked there would generally be no additional cost for other wedding activities.
