A Culinary Safari, Lake Maggiore

The ‘Safari del Gusto’ is a culinary journey to ten different locations, each presenting an evening of highlights from a local restaurant and wine cellar to create a varied menu. Together with 20 restaurateurs, Andreas Gartmann aims to highlight the variety of flavours and diversity of dishes emanating from Ticino kitchens to both local residents and holidaymakers to the region.

The premiere will be held on 19 May 2017 in the Hotel Eden Roc in Ascona, which will be transformed into an appetising marketplace. Guests will embark on a culinary safari from aperitifs to desserts, leading them through the hotel and the wonderful gardens down to the shores of Lake Maggiore.

Each stand will present one dish with an accompanying wine for an exquisite taste sensation. The delicious finale will be a dessert buffet with DJ. The event starts at 19:00 and the price per person is CHF 200 all-inclusive. Bookings can be made on +41 (0)91 785 7171.
