Over the years South Africa has developed a reputation for producing some of the best and most commercially successful wines in the world. The FNB Mpumalanga Wine Show offers a showcase to over 250 wines from a variety of regions. Visitors to the show will have their taste buds tingling as they explore the produce of 50 exhibitors including the prestigious Kanonkop, Jordan, Tokara, Meerlust, Paul Cluver Wines and Steenberg. International wines will also be on show with Valdo Prosecco making a first-time appearance and crystal stemware and delicious foods adding to the event’s bonhomie.

An equally popular feature of the show is the opportunity to buy wine favourites via the Shop@Show facility, administered by local retailer Tops The Grove.  Enjoy the convenience of receiving show purchases delivered to your door.

Joint sponsor of the event, FNB Private Wealth and FNB Private Clients expressed their enthusiasm ahead of this year’s event:

Sipho Silinda, CEO of FNB Private Clients says: “We are delighted to once again make it possible for the local community in Mpumalanga to enjoy an exclusive wine tasting experience while getting an opportunity to mingle and learn about alternative wine varieties from some of the best producers in the country.  The FNB Mpumalanga Wine Show has come a long way and earned a place in the hearts of local wine enthusiasts.  As this initiative grows stronger it brings us one step closer to realising our broader objective to foster local economic development by supporting community events that show potential to grow.”

Show director Michael Fridjhon, added: “To ensure more space for the region’s wine lovers, FNB has elected to host all its guests on the Thursday evening, thus ensuring that the Friday is entirely available to members of the public”.

Tickets to the show are available via Computicket as well as the Money Market counters in Shoprite Checkers stores.  Emnotweni Rewards cardholders will received up to 20% discount if they purchase tickets online at emnotweni.co.za or via computicket.com.
