Travel isn’t just what we write about — it’s what we’ve spent a lifetime doing.
Lovemytrips was originally launched back in 2011, during a moment of change when a business I had worked for went into liquidation. What started as a passion project — sharing ideas, inspiration and advice — quickly found an audience, particularly on Twitter, where a growing community of travellers began to engage with the content.
Fast forward to today, and Lovemytrips has evolved into a dedicated travel content hub, built on over 40 years of industry experience.
A Lifetime in Travel
With more than four decades working in the travel industry — primarily with wholesale tour operators — I’ve had the opportunity to see how travel really works behind the scenes.
That includes time spent living and working in India, as well as consulting for a range of travel businesses across different markets. More recently, I launched Rendezvous Roadtrips, a specialist tour operator focused on tailor-made, multi-centre journeys for travellers looking for something a little more considered and personal.
