Crafting breaks in Devon

Poppy Treffry workshop

Like crafting? Looking for something a little different for your next break? Made on Holiday offers crafting breaks in Devon. Here’s what they have coming up…

Craft weekend

Made on Holiday’s next Staycreation retreat will be with Argentinian artist and illustrator, Adriana Torres, aka Miga de Pan – her only UK dates in 2016. Guests will learn embroidery and explore ‘secrets’ from her master class ‘The Dancing Cat in my garden’. This is a rare and incredible chance to get a glimpse into her design philosophy, exquisite techniques and extraordinary talent.

‘Yarn in the Country’, with London based Allison and Rachel from Yarn In The City.

“We were looking to bring a knitting course to our residential retreats, and were wondering how to create a great knitting get-together”. “Yarn In The City has a terrific spirit and connections within the knitting community and we’re thrilled to have them partner with us. Working with Allison and Rachel for an autumn retreat has been fun”. You just need to travel to Devon and we will take care of you. The workshops include plenty of knitting, yarn dyeing, a few woolly surprises, as well as time for chatting.
